Photoshop Quiz

Create a new document in Photoshop that is 500 pixels by 500 pixels.

Go to Google images and choose a yellow star (similar in size). Open it in Photoshop, crop the star and place it in your new document.

Select your head out of one of your pictures and put it on top of the star.

Use the text tool and write "(Your Name) is a star!"

Use a layer effect or warped text effect on the text.

Save the file as a .jpg.

Import it into Word, add your name and what layer effect or warped text effect you used and print it out.

Career Collage

Using Photoshop, you are to create an 8.5” x 11” collage depicting your future career plans. You may use images from the Internet (they must be appropriate and follow the criteria below) as well as those you have taken and scanned in class. Your collage should have the following:

You may need to explore other tools to create the look you want. The collage will be due at the end of the next class period. When finished, please double check to make sure your collage will fit on an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper. Print using the 208 color printer. Please double check your work BEFORE printing.

You are going to be famous! Visit each site below and save the images into your folder. (Remember to right-click on the image and pick “Save Picture as…” when on the Internet.)
